I came across some wonderful black and white photographs by Peter Turnley, taken during the early days of the Ukraine/Russia war, when people (mainly elderly, women and children) were leaving Kiev, in fear of their lives. I was so moved by these wonderful photographs, that decided to try and reproduce their essence in colour.
